This is a noise calibrator that generates accurate noise signals (94 dB and 114 dB) to verify whether the sound level meter is functioning properly. The usage is quite simple: slide the range switch to set the desired noise level (94 dB or 114 dB). The SC-5 will immediately emit a constant noise signal once the switch is turned on. If the display level of the sound level meter is not within the accuracy range of 94 dB or 114 dB, refer to the operating manual of the sound level meter to adjust the displayed value.
